The Pointer Sisters will sing live at the Music Festival for Mental Health on September 13, 2008

Back in 1973, the Pointer Sisters released their debut single, "Yes We Can, Can." When they performed it at their first ever live show in L.A., "we just shook everything we could shake," said Ruth. Critics called the Pointers "the most exciting thing to hit show business in years." Ever since, their soulful, sexy, powerhouse performances have gotten audiences out of their seats and captured them not only three Grammies but the admiration of pop and R&B fans everywhere.
